History:

Ministry of Forests developed an interpretive Forest site on this property in approximately 1999. As part of the divestiture of recreation sites the trails were offered to the CVRD as a park in 2002.

Natural Features:

The trails on site connect Piercy, Wildwood, Forest Hill, and Burns roads. Additionally there are logging roads north of Burns Road which do not connect with other public access. The trail section varies throughout, and includes active logging roads, an old railway grade, a constructed trail, and a narrow track on native soil. The southern half of the site is second growth fir, hemlock and spruce. The northern half of the site was logged and replanted in approximately 1993-5.

The trail is moderately easy walking.
